Can I Connect My Laptob To The Internet With My Blackberry Phone?

I have a blackberry 7100i, was wondering if my wireless card and phone can connect? Or , if I could connect my laptop to the internet throgh my phone?? ALso, was wondering if its necessary to have blackberry enterprise service if I only wanted to use my blackberry as regular phone and calendar. Would I still be able to sync the calendar to my laptop w/the cable?? and not have to have data package??

    Yes you can use a Blackberry as a wireless Modem but you do need to have an unlimited data plan.
    No is not necessary to have a BES or any data plan to use your berry for voice service.
    Now if your calendar syncs wireless yes you do need that BES data plan.
    If your calendar syncs with Desktop Mgr. and USB cable you do NOT need a data plan.
