   You can buy the cellphone without a contract at a much higher cost than with a contract and just switch out the sim cards or call and switch service to the new sim card. However, you cannot buy like an AT&T phone and use it on Verizon, it must be on your network.

   yes you can,but you will have to pay full retail price for it,and it must be verizon if you wanna add it to your verizon plan
   for example they offer a phone at walmart for $50 dollars with a two year contract,and the retail price is $200.if you want that phone without contrat, your gonna have to pay the retail price,in this case the $200 dollars since its without contract
