Like someone already said, never talk on it while it charges, and let the battery completely die before recharging again, that goes for a home phone ( cordless) cell phone and any kind of battery that recharges it. Leaving it on the charger will constantly put a positive ion charge into the battery not letting it actually attach to the negative side in the battery, causing a ultimate malfunction. (DEAD BATTERY) I know someone also said that the sales people always tell you to leave it charged, but thats the initial charge, when you get a full handset or when you get a new battery. SO AS FAR AS SAYING THAT, I never tell people to do it immediately. Good luck with the new wireless phone! PLEASE be sure this particular batterie type is rechargeable. most are not.Nickel Cadmium batteries are rechargeable. But, its allways a good idea to read mfgs.warnings.
