We managed to communicate by writing, doing our own washing and ironing, and still had time for hobbies and pastimes. The TV is the biggest robber of your life. In the time it takes to watch the endless, mindless rubbish pumped out, yu cd learn to enjoy playing an instrument, learn a craft, another language or simply travel. All these modern inventions, although useful in an emergency, are not necessary to life.
