The differences are: The iPhone is slightly fatter which changes the weight slightly, it has a phone while the iPod does not. It also has a camera. It can connect to the internet via 3G networks and has an internal microphone which is essential for certain apps from the app store. The iPhone has a vibrator inside it and lastly, there is a slot that fits a SIM card in the iPhone which obviously does not exist in the touch. You can download an app called fake-a-call that makes it seem like your iTouch has a phone in it!
